We organize international encounters of youth and of field actors from the socio-educative and cultural domains. The ensemble of our projects is based on the concept of intercultural learning for the development of the intercultural competences of the participants.
The training seminars:

We propose two types of training seminars :
- Basic training seminars to become hosts of intercultural meetings > Click here
- Thematic training seminars > Click here
The participants work with youth in the socio-educative and cultural domain. Furthermore, they are interested in the exchange of pedagogical methods for intercultural meetings. The groups are generally made up of hosts, social workers, volunteers of different associations, teachers, students and speakers in the socio-educative and cultural domains.
Notably, one of the objectives of our training seminars is to incite the emergence and development of projects directed towards the youth. Not only our seminars allow the participants to enlighten themselves, amongst other things, but also the seminars allow them to meet up and create connections.
Thus several projects of international youth exchanges are born as an outcome of our different training seminars, and we have developed our network of regional and local partners.
The youth encounters :

Throughout the year, we propose different phases of youth encounters in different countries and with different themes.
The intercultural youth exchanges are aimed towards groups from 10 to 30 years old, mostly coming from les privileged neighborhoods. As much as we search for a gender mixture (with a girl-boy equilibrium), we also search for a social mixture. All this is made in order to create clear diversity in the heart of a same French group.
The motivation and implication of young participants are determinant factors in the conduct of the project. We pay a particular attention so that these meetings lead to concrete and fulfilling achievements (artistic, sportive…) for the youth. Otherwise, in order for our youth encounters to be very well coordinated between the local partner and Une Terre Culturelle, a volunteer is placed in the partner structure. This volunteer has the communication support between the two organisms as his/her mission.

We propose several types of missions:
- Voluntary civil service
- International civil service
- French-German voluntary service
- European voluntary service
The missions target young people aged from 17 to 30 years old for missions going from 6 to 12 months in the domains of popular education and general interest. Since the year 2010, the association Une Terre Culturelle (Certified as a popular education association), supervised around a 100 civil service volunteers in its office, and at its local and international partners for communication, socio-cultural activities, and education for all missions.
This network of volunteers allows the conduct of existing and future projects of each structure and to implement other ways of development. This approach allows the youth to think of other perspectives and of alternative options to their future. Accordingly, this approach gives them the possibility to create connections, to learn, and to discover new domains through exchanging experiences and points of view . The association Une Terre Culturelle wishes to allow them to live a field experience, to incite them to develop a critical and civil spirit, and to boost educative mobility.
