Support local community in Armenia – CCMS (Center for Community Mobilization and Support)

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION  

CCMS is an organisation founded in 2009 by a group that represented communities in the Lori region. CCMS activities focus on the following issues: protection of human and children’s rights, development of civic activities, implementation of youth projects, formal and informal education. The volunteer will help on: – Projects development with local community and youngsters (informal education, citizenship, international mobility, local events) – Support sustainability by helping in the local garden during spring/summer – Promote international mobility in the local community

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS 

Accomodation is provided along with pocket and food money. Transportation in the limit of km forfait. 

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY 

Workshops during the mission. Preparation in Marseille if possible. 

PARTICIPANT PROFILE 

Motivation is an important criteria. English B1 at least. Armenian/Russian is a plus. Experience in a rural region is a plus as CCMS is located in rural area. Interest for citizenship, working with local communities, sustainability
