The Kindergarten program includes two different kindergartens, the kindergarten of Xylokastro and of Derveni. The kindergartens host children in between 2-5 years old. The volunteers are expected to help in the everyday work of the kindergarten. The aims of the project are the introduction of new activities taken by the volunteers for the daily life of the children, the promotion, and contact of new cultures and the development of the artistic abilities of the children by helping the teachers in the kindergarten in their activities The main tasks of the volunteers are: • assisting the teachers, e.g. organize the classroom, prepare the teaching materials • supporting the learning process of the children • helping in the fine-art workshop, painting lessons and theatrical workshop • participating in outdoor activities based on the season and the teaching plan • helping the staff of the kindergarten with the everyday schedule • be active member of the team.
Accommodation, food, and transport arrangement
The volunteers will live all together in orfeasEVShome, a flat in the center of the town. • four bedrooms • living-room • kitchen • three bathrooms • four balconies, big rooftop The volunteers are responsible to keep the flat clean, set a cleaning schedule and follow it. Pocket and food compensation will be provided to the volunteer during the mission. One round-trip between France and Greece will be taken in charge.

Human Rights Youth Organisation (HRYO) is an organisation working to promote human rights, inclusion and civic participation. They develop a project of rehabilitation of fields confiscated to the mafia in Sicily and are looking for a volunteer to help build, clean the fields (gardening), participate and support learning activities with kids (help on animation, communication, logistic, project management), support local events and networks around permaculture… The volunteering can also include support tasks of project management with the team of HRYO.
Accommodation, food, and transport arrangement
The volunteer will share a flat with 5 other volunteers. The flat has private bedrooms and shared spaces (kitchen, living room, bathrooms). It is well connected to the city of Palermo, a bike can be lent to the volunteer. The volunteer will receive food and pocket money every month and will have 1 round-trip taken in charge (according to a defined budget).
Participant profile
The volunteer will be motivated and engaged in the mission. He·she will be sensitive to environmental issues and not afraid to do manual works (gardening, cleaning, rehabilitation…). We are looking for someone who speaks at least a basis of English or Italian. The volunteer will have Italian classes during the mission.
Une Terre Culturelle propose une mission à Tanger au Maroc, dans l’association Chifae. L’association Chifae est une association de quartier, créée en 1998, par les habitant-e-s de Bir Chifae. Le but de l’association est de contribuer au développement du quartier à travers l’amélioration des opportunités éducatives, de participation citoyenne ainsi que l’amélioration des conditions socio-économiques des habitant-e-s du quartier Bir Chifae. La population visée par l’association est toute personne habitant le quartier (en particulier les enfants, les jeunes et les femmes…) > Participation au suivi et à l’évaluation des projets de l’association > Soutenir la communication : photos, vidéo, conception d’une newsletter, rédaction lors d’ateliers, etc. > Aider dans l’animation des activités de l’association.

Eufemia is an NGO working in the youth field at different and various levels : local, international, public centers, schools, with families and municipalities. Eufemia is hosting EVS/ESC volunteers since 2012. The role of the volunteers is to support the activities of the organization. The volunteers are encouraged to use their creativity to create activities, modules, and projects. Many projects were already started by volunteers, such as Language Club or a food bank. There was also a project with children to teach theme how to use technology. The volunteers also support the Theater workshop and the development of escape games. Beside of the creative activities, there will also be back office activities. The volunteers can also learn non-formal education methods, language clubs. There will be a place to develop personal projects.

Monte Nero flat is a shared house, which means you share all the common spaces, plus each room will be shared by two volunteers. This location is convenient: in the immediate vicinity there are metro, bus, tram/train and bike sharing stations, as well as street market, supermarkets, café, restaurants. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, big kitchen, long hall, four balconies, and a backyard where we can keep our bikes safe! 6€ per day as food allowance, 5€ per day as pocket money (individual support). You will get a bike or a pass for the bike sharing service.

Enriquezarte est une organisation à but non lucratif basée à Barcelone, qui a pour objectif de diffuser l’art à travers des activités communautaire et solidaire, des projets de volontariat, des ateliers de promotion de la diversité et d’insertion socio-professionnelle. Le·la volontaire aura l’opportunité de contribuer au développement des projets culturels et de soutenir les activités quotidiennes de la structure : participation au développement du lieu, appui à la communication, soutien et animation d’ateliers de français. Au sein d’une équipe internationale, vous aurez l’opportunité de participer à des activités culturelles visant la solidarité, la citoyenneté et l’engagement, et l’insertion socio-professionnelle.

La structure propose un appartement partagé avec d’autres volontaires à Barcelone. Les repas sont pris en charge par la structure. Le·la volontaire disposera d’une indemnité (argent de poche) pour vivre sur place. Les frais de voyage aller-retour sont pris en charge dans la limite du forfait CES. Mission de 35 h/semaine.
